To address the hospital’s need to expand their Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment Care services and to connect seamlessly to their recently constructed Cancer Care Center, a new linear accelerator was designed and completed.

The new linear accelerator vault with support space is an addition to the existing hospital, as is a new second story mechanical room serving the new linear accelerator. Minor renovation of existing hospital space accommodating conference and patient consult space combine to establish an integrated connection between the new and existing spaces.

Anderson Mikos Architects provided full services, including Medical Planning, Architecture and Interior Design.

Location Comment: The recent choice to manage diagnostic mammograms and screening mammograms in separate areas was brilliant and makes all the difference in specialized care.
