There is an ever-increasing demand for emergency services in Lake County due to an ever-growing population. Advanced trauma services are also needed within the area.

Condell Medical Center addressed this problem with their Emergency Department Expansion, bringing Level I Trauma services to Lake County patients.

This new facility more than triples the size of their existing department. There are specialized areas for trauma, as well as fast track services and a separate pediatric treatment area, the first in Lake County. Construction took place in phases without any interruption of Condell’s current emergency services to the community.

Anderson Mikos Architects provided full services, including interior design.
